Terms of use

Plain English terms for using Nora Aware. No surprises.

Last updated: 29 October 2026

Using the app

Nora Aware is an educational app that teaches you how to spot scams and stay safe online. You are welcome to use it on your own iPhone, or through Apple Family Sharing, for personal, non-commercial learning. Please do not copy, resell or redistribute the lessons.

Free trial and subscription

Nora Aware is a paid app. For new subscribers, the yearly plan starts with a free trial of 7 days, after which it renews as a subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. A monthly plan is also available, as is a lifetime purchase that you pay for once. Apple shows the exact price for your country, handles the payment through the App Store, and you can cancel a subscription at any time from your Apple account. Purchases are also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement.

Education, not advice

The lessons are here to build your confidence and awareness. They are general guidance, not legal, financial or security advice for your specific situation. If you think you have been the victim of a scam, contact your bank and the relevant authorities straight away.

Changes

We may add modules, improve lessons or update these terms over time. If we make a meaningful change, we will note it here with a new date at the top.
