Things people ask us

Do I need to create an account?

No. There are no accounts, passwords or email sign-ups. You download the app and start. We never ask for your name or contact details.

Will it work for my mum or dad?

That's exactly who it's built for. Every lesson is in plain English, the text can be made larger, and there's nothing to set up. You can install it on a parent's phone in a few minutes and sit with them for the first module.

What does it cover?

The scams people actually fall for: fake texts and emails, phone calls from "your bank", AI voice clones, QR codes, tech support pop-ups, romance scams, fake shops and investments, and what to do if something has already happened. The full list is in the course above.

Does it block scam calls or texts?

No. Nora Aware teaches you to recognise them, which works wherever they turn up. Blocking is a separate job and we don't pretend to do what we don't do.

Do you collect my data?

Almost nothing. No account, no tracking, no ads, and nothing is ever sold. Your progress stays on your phone and in your own iCloud. The only records we hold are purchase records that are not linked to your names, so the app knows what you have paid for, and anonymous crash reports from Apple. The full privacy policy is short and in plain English.

How do I cancel?

In the Settings app on your iPhone: tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Nora Aware. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. If you get stuck, email us and we'll walk you through it.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Nora Aware is an iPhone app for now.
