How do I cancel my subscription?

Your subscription is handled by Apple through the App Store, so you cancel it on your iPhone in a few taps. Here is how:

    Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

  2. 2

    Tap your name at the very top, then tap Subscriptions.

  3. 3

    Tap Nora Aware, then tap Cancel Subscription.

You will keep your Premium access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again. If you cannot find it, email us and we will walk you through it.

Do you collect my data?

No. This is something we feel strongly about. There are no accounts, no sign-up, and no tracking. We do not show ads and we never sell or share information with anyone.

Your streak, completed lessons, and quiz results stay on your own device. The only thing we receive is anonymous crash reports from Apple, which simply tell us when something broke so we can fix it. You can read the full privacy policy any time.

I think I'm being scammed right now. What should I do?
First, take a breath. You have done the right thing by stopping to check.

It is always okay to say no, hang up, or close a message. A real bank or company will never mind you taking your time.

If you are in the middle of it right now:

    Do not send any money, and do not share passwords, PINs, or one-time codes with anyone.

  2. 2

    Hang up the call or close the message. You do not owe anyone an explanation.

  3. 3

    If it involves your bank account, phone your bank using the number printed on the back of your card, not a number someone gave you.

    If you have already paid or shared details, contact your bank straight away and report it to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 (in the UK).

When things have calmed down, feel free to email us about what happened. We cannot recover money, but we are happy to help you understand it so it does not catch you again.

Can I give it to my mum or dad as a gift?

Yes, and it is one of the most common ways people use Nora Aware. You can set the app up on their phone in a few minutes: there are no accounts or passwords, so there is nothing for them to remember.
